This Alecto wireless smoke detector uses 2 AA-batteries, that have to be replaced every 5 years. The detector contains a handy Time Out function as well, which allows you to install a lower sensitivity level for 10 minutes. Ideal for situations where there is a risk of false alarm, like during cooking.
