The ELRO FC5003 carbon monoxide detector ensures that you are alerted in time to the emergence of the poisonous carbon monoxide gas. This gas is odourless and invisible, making it undetectable without a detector. Carbon monoxide is caused by incomplete combustion and can occur from a chimney, a water heater or a central heating boiler.
This detector from ELRO features a high-quality electrochemical sensor that constantly measures the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air. The display shows the concentration of CO. If the concentration levels are too high, the detector sounds a loud 85dB alarm. The ELRO FC5003 complies with European standard EN 50291-1:2010.
Easy installation
The ELRO FC5003 carbon monoxide detector is standardly delivered with the necessary fastening material (screws and plugs). With this, you can easily and quickly attach the detector to the wall. Or you can also just put it on a cupboard or table.
Place the CO detector ideally at approximately 1.5m height. Furthermore, pay attention that you remain at least 1.85m out of reach of a combustion appliance. To spare your ears, the test volume is moreover somewhat weaker than the actual alarm sound.
